I met a guy at the autoparts store Friday making efforts to restore a 75 or so Pinto to stock. Somebody's got to do it, I guess.

I think at this point there are so many Pinto rods that keeping one stock is actually the more individualistic thing to do. Which is odd, but sort of makes sense.

Gas tank and mild cheapness throughout, yes, but rocks agreed. It makes the Vega look like an actual garbage can on wheels.

Please understand, I'm not a hater - in fact I'm the one who launched an impromptu Pinto theme day last week - but it's a bit of an odd choice to try to get perfect/factory original.
